IBM 78P6754 SMART SafeStor 32GB 2DRx4 NN4-2400T NVDIMM
The IBM 78P6754 is a 32GB DDR4 NVDIMM built on SMART Modular SafeStor technology. It fits a standard 288-pin DIMM socket and runs at 2400 MT/s and 1.2 V as registered ECC memory.
Backup to Flash
In normal operation the module functions as a standard JEDEC DDR4 RDIMM. During a power loss the contents of its DRAM are backed up to on-module flash. The NVDIMM also supports SMART’s Autonomous Self Refresh (ASR), which lets it start a backup on its own after an operating-system crash, CPU fault, memory-controller fault, BIOS hang or other motherboard failure that hangs the system without power loss.
Important Notice: this is an NVDIMM: a DDR4 module that combines DRAM with non-volatile flash backup, built on SMART SafeStor technology.
