This page lists every 12-core processor in our Intel Xeon range, from DDR3 E5-2600 v2 parts to DDR5 Xeon Silver, so you can match twelve cores to the socket and memory your server already uses. Models include the E5-2697 v2, E5-2680 v3 and E5-2650 v4, the Gold 6126, 6136, 6226 and 5317, and the Silver 4116, 4214, 4310, 4410Y and 4510. Memory you already own narrows the choice: DDR3 modules go with E5-2600 v2, DDR4 RDIMMs with E5-2600 v3 and v4 or 1st to 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable, and DDR5 with 4th and 5th Gen platforms; Dell's PowerEdge R660 and R760 accept registered ECC DDR5 DIMMs only.
